After Faridah Nakazibwe she announced that the people from Masaka will be getting together at Lugogo Cricket Oval, and Masaka, excitement was in high gear because there is quite a number of people from greater Masaka living in Kampala.

However, the fete did not go as planned as there was a low turn up.

Walking into cricket oval, you would notice that the venue was too big for the event but it was visible that the organisers did a good job with a well thought out theme.

There was a dummy equator, a landmark that symbolises entry into the Greater Masaka region, 360 cameras and electric swings.

The VVIP section had the highest number of revellers, with almost all the tables occupied while the VIP and general section had wanting numbers.

Despite the low turn up at Lugogo, Nakazibwe believes success will come from home, Buddu as the Fete happens tomorrow, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Masaka Recreation Grounds.

Several acts including Kakuuto County MP Geoffrey Lutaaya and his wife Irene Namatovu, Bruno K, Maureen Nantume, DJ Suuna Ben and Mbaziira Tony of the famous Binyanyanyanya among others are to perform at the event.
