The Federation Of International Football Association -FIFA has released the dates for the next international break for the final rounds of the World Cup qualifiers.
As a result, Uganda Cranes, who are pooled in Group E alongside, Rwanda, Kenya and Mali have learnt the dates to face their next appointments.
Uganda, who are second on nine eight points, two shy of leaders Mali will welcome bitter rivals Kenya at the St Mary’s Stadium Kitende on 11th November 2021 before the final group game away against Mali on 14th November.
The two games will determine Uganda’s fate, whether they are to head into the final playoff round for a ticket to Qatar or not.
As it stands, the battle for the top spot in Group E is firmly between leaders Mali and Uganda who are yet to face each other in the return leg.
The first game between the two ended goalless at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende in Wakiso. Rwanda and Kenya are firmly out of contention.
Uganda boosted their chances of qualification by winning the double header against Rwanda, thanks to Fahad Bayo’s goals in each of the two ties.
The kickoff times and venues will be Confirmed by FIFA next week.
