The Kawempe North Member of Parliament elect Muhammad Ssegirinya is likely to miss the 11th Parliament swearing in ceremony.
As the swearing in of MPs enters day three, Ssegirinya’s fans and Supporters continue to worry about his absence.
Ssegirinya who is already on the list of legislators expected to take oaths today has not been spotted anywhere in the congregation at the ceremony.
It should be remembered that he was on March 22, sent to Kitalya prison after being charged with inciting violence cases. He was later on May 15, released on bail.
A day after his release, he was admitted to the Doctors’ hospital in Seguku with ear and stomach complications. However, his situation worsened, and was transferred to Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi the capital city of Kenya.
Pictures taken on May 14, of the MP elect showed that he was registering improvement as he was seen outside the hospital walking with the aid of crutches.
It is still unclear if he has been able to travel back to the country to take oath.
His absence has also forced NBS Television senior report Joseph Sabiti to question if there is anyone with the whereabouts of the self proclaimed Mr Update.
