Supporters of Former presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine and National Unity Platform (NUP) have been eagerly waiting for his plan B after losing in the 2021 presidential elections to incumbent Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Many of his Supporters have been asking when they should be ready to take to the streets to demonstrate demanding for their victory since Bobi claims that he is the president elect, however, new developments coming from NUP, show that there might not be any demonstrations today but a simple ‘PRAYER’.
According to NUP’s mouth piece Joel Ssenyonyi, the party has decided to declare Museveni to God.
“As NUP,we’ve declared today May, 12, 2021 a day of prayer & fasting. We’ll beseech God to heal Uganda (2Chronicles 7:14). As Mr. Museveni swears himself after a rigged election, killing, incarcerating & maiming pple, NUP leaders will be at NUP offices to pray. You too can pray from wherever you’ll be.” He communicated through his social media platforms.
Joel has also revealed that Mr Wine will not swear himself in as the new president of Uganda.

Museveni is expected to swear in today as the new president of Uganda. This is the sixth time he is being sworn in as the country’s president.
His swearing in preparations have seen a number of police and military personnel deployed to Bobi’s home in Magere, Wakiso and Dr Kiiza Besigye in Kasangati in fear of any chaos that might be caused by the former presidential candidates on Museveni’s big day.
The Same security forces have been deployed around the city where people are being limited on movements.
New strict curfew guidelines saw many women, children and men spend the whole cold night of yesterday in taxi parks in Kampala after being stopped by security forces from going to their destinations.
Boom.ug is following the developments closely and will keep you posted.
