National Unity Platform-NUP boss Robert Kyaguranyi Sentamu, party spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi and secretary-general David Lewis Rubongoya have been forced out of Bombo Military Hospital like dogs.
The NUP top bosses had gone to pay a visit to the ill NUP founder Mzee Moses Nkonge Kibalama who is currently admitted.
According to Ssenyonyi, they found visitors entering to visit other patients but as soon as they entered, the military ordered them to vacate the hospital provinces with no reason given to them.
Ssenyonyi revealed that a senior officer who is yet to be identified ordered the arrest of the soldiers at the gate who allowed the NUP force to enter in.
“Mzee Kibalama(NUP founder) is admitted at Bombo military hospital, so we went to see him this afternoon. We found visitors entering to see other patients. The Military asked us to leave & a senior officer came & ordered for the arrest of the soldiers at the gate who let us in. Uganda!!” – Senyonyi posted.
NUP is yet to issue a statement on the health condition of its former and founder president.
