The president of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will address the nation on national matters for the second time in two weeks.
According to Ms Nabusayi Lindah Wamboko, the Senior Press Secretary to the President of the Republic of Uganda, Museveni will talk to his Bazukulu tomorrow November 1, 2021, on all TV Channels and Radios
“@KagutaMuseveni will address the Nation tomorrow, October 01, 2021, on matters of National importance starting at 8:00pm from SL Nakasero. The address will be live on all TVs and Radios,” Nabusayi announced through her official Twitter account.
In his last address, the president aimed at a further easing of the lockdown restrictions. He directed the reopening of places of worship, and some recreational sectors, including casinos, gyms and betting shops.
Museveni said that Universities and higher institutes will open on November 1, on condition all teaching and non-teaching staff are vaccinated.
All 330,000 students above the age of 18 must be vaccinated. The rest of the learning institutions will open in January next year.
Now, Despite the fact that the agenda of Friday’s address has not been revealed, the president is expected to hint at how far the country has gone with the vaccination process and the state of security in the country.
