LEAKED! Museveni to extend lockdown for more 4 months

Panic has surrounded Ugandans after a document reportedly from the director of finance and logistics of the office of the president leaked online.

The letter is permitting an Internal Security Organization- ISO vehicle movement during lockdown for six months.

The letter permits movement of a vehicle registration number UBH 3245 Toyota land cruiser black in Color for six months with effective from 22nd June.

“The aforementioned is an operational vehicle used by this office. This movement order is valid for six (06) months with effect from 22nd June, 2021,” Part of the document reads.

The document comes after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni sending the country into a 42 days lockdown which saw schools, shops, arcades, transport, churches among other things close temporarily to battle the deadly disease COVID-19.

The letter has left citizens in shock with many believe that the lockdown is to be extended for for more months. However, it should be noted that it’s the Government of Uganda has a mandate to announce the guidelines as a way to fight COVID-19.
