First son and heir apparent General Muhoozi Kainerugaba may have art to command and a nation to woo as he works under the wraps to bring the nation onside ahead of his alleged presidential bid, but he has a soft spot for celebrating important family days.

When the world was celebrating Father’s day, Gen Muhoozi also took time off to celebrate his father. But it was not his earthly father President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni but rather his heavenly father, God.

Muhoozi opted to do away with his father Museveni and instead looked to his heavenly father to deliver the nation from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a short prayer posted on his Twitter the fiery general called upon God to take it into his hands and make the country rise from the ruins of the pandemic.

However, the general’s post rubbed many in different directions, with many wondering why Muhoozi could not reserve any special praise for his father who is reportedly grooming him to take over the country’s top seat after he steps down from the leadership of the country.

“I dedicate this Father’s Day, to the best father of all, our Heavenly Father. As we confront this very infectious and deadly second wave of Covid-19 that is killing our people, I believe Almighty God will deliver us as He always has. God bless Uganda!” – Muhoozi posted.
