Museveni’s pal Gen. Muhoozi to vacate CDF office

General David Rubakuba Muhoozi is to vacate the Chief of Defence Forces-CDF office to take on his new role as Minister for Internal affairs after replacing Obiga Kania.

Muhoozi says that after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni appointed him as a minister, he has to be out of CDF’s office to serve his new task.

Museveni’s first son revealed just after he was approved by the Parliament’s Appointments Committee that the nation will soon get to know who the next CDF boss is.

Muhooze disclosed that the commander in chief Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will announce his replacement as the CDF boss soon.

“Am not going to retire from the army but am not going to remain CDF a replacement will be named so that I move on to my new office. The appointing authority will name someone soon,” Gen. Muhoozi said.

Muhoozi is currently the boss of CDF, UPDF Member of Parliament, and the Minister of Internal affairs. However, netizens are disappointed to see a single individual having three huge government jobs

Inside sources allege that Museveni may appoint his first son Lt. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba to replace him. Keinerugaba 47, is currently the commander of Special Forces Command-SFC
