Breakdown of new cases per district as Uganda goes out of COVID-19 vaccines

Uganda COVID-19 cases have risen to a total of 58,515 as the country is straggling to control the first spreading second wave of the virus.

According to the ministry report released today, Uganda has confirmed 1,566 new cases from COVID-19 tests done on 09 June 2021.

According to Dr Atwine Diana, the virus has increased by 135{a6adf960b9dc55bb3e49ff07c82daa20469ae533cf096e1b9d27878361bb9db5} but the country is almost out of vaccines.

Uganda has 47,760 recoveries and 408 total virus deaths since March 2020 when the virus invaded the country.

The Ministry pleaded to citizens to report to the nearby hospital in case they experience COVID-19 symptoms. Ministry officials revealed that hiding positive results lead to the loss of many.
