Somber mood at NBS TV as Journalists, others mourn the loss of Sheilah Nakabuye

It is a somber mood at Next Media after NBS TV’s South Western Uganda chief bureau Sheilah Nduhukire breathing her last at Mbarara Referral hospital today Monday morning.

Next media’s Samson Kasumba and fellow journalists have also joined Nakabuye’s fans, family and friends in mourning her loss. 

Samson Kasumba took his social media platforms to mourn the loss of his senior workmate he’s gutted. Kasumba who has closely been working with Nakabuye remembers her as a jolly person.

“Sheila you always smiled as you told your stories. With so much passion and detail. You brought yourself into the heart of others and felt their pain. Now because you attempted to have a child you are dead? How are we supposed to accept that?  I am gutted,” Kasumba has cried. 

Ernest Wisdom Kiyonga the Luganda news producer at NBS TV has been assigning Nakabuye on a daily and he also has also been saddened by her death.

“What a sad day! @nextmediaug Bureau Chief for Southwestern Uganda, Sheilah Nakabuye passed on this morning 17th May, 2021 at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital. She had on 15th May, 2021 delivered a baby girl but gone into a coma after that. We’ll miss her. Rest well Sheila,” he has tweeted. 

Renowned TV presenter Douglas Lwanga has also joined mourners to remember Sheilah Nakabuye’s life.

“We have lost our own. Rest In Peace Sheilah Nakabuye (Next Medias Western Uganda Correspondent)” Lwanga Douglas has said. 

In her job, Nakabuye has been Working with different people, politicians inclusive and they also remember her as a dedicated and passionate stringer. 

“This is so saddening. Sheila was a dedicated and passionate stringer. The industry will miss your professionalism. Rest in Peace Sheilah Nakabuye.” Gen Elly Tumwiine has stated.
