Uganda Airlines speaks out about big shame after plane ran out of fuel in Tanzania

Passengers travelling with Uganda Airlines craft UR 321 were on Monday 12 July 2021 left in shock after the plane ran out of fuel leaving them stranded at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Tanzania for hours. 

According to the travel company, there was a mix-up in delayed fuel delivery to the aircraft which was caused by their supplier in Dar Es Salaam.

Uganda Airlines has apologised to their clients assuring them of good services in the future. 

“Allow us to apologise for the prolonged delay at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Dar Es Salaam that occurred Yesterday 12 July 2021 on our flight UR 321.

“Our service was affected by a mix up in delayed fuel delivery to the aircraft caused by our supplier in Dar Es Salaam.

“We have take up the matter with them to ensure a repeat of the same does not reoccur in the future.

“We wish to assure you that this mishap does not define our day to day standards of service. Thank you for your continued support.” A press release issued by Uganda Airlines reads.
