Hassan Ndugga Trashes Madness Reports

Hassan Ndugga of the popular “Omugugu” fame was early this month seen roaming the streets and compost heaps of the city, with several of his friends and children in hot pursuit. The singer who was in the past months reported having visited and consulted traditional healers and Medicine men so as to revive his career was visibly nuts as social media ran amok.

Many were quick to claim that it was a mere stunt by the artiste to revive his faded music career while others claimed it was genuine madness. However, Ndugga has hit back, saying he has never run mad, saying he was merely possessed by his ancestors.

He also added that this was not the first time that he was in such a state.

I had not run mad. I was only possessed by my ancestors. This was not the first time that such a thing was happening to me. It wasn’t a stunt because am beyond that stage of making stunts. If I had run mad I wouldn’t have regained my senses very soon” he told a local news channel.

Not long, Nduga started praying to small gods, he was arrested by police from a shrine due to an unpaid debt of about 30million Ugandan shillings and 2 million Ugandan shillings worth rent.
