“Artistes Should Learn to Challenge Themselves,” Azawi Advises after Successful Lugogo Concert

Swangz Avenue songstress Azawi real name Zawedde Priscilla has a bit of good advice for her fellow artistes, especially those who are still new in the game like her.

Azawi joined the music industry in 2019 and released her first song in 2020 meaning she is just two years old in the music industry.

However, last weekend she pulled out a successful concert at Lugogo grounds which is very unusual for a young artiste.

Azawi made history to be the first female young artist in the Ugandan music industry to have a huge crowd in her first concert.

According to Azawi, she was also surprised to see herself pull out such a crowd after being in the industry for only two years.

Azawi said she was scared too but she challenged herself and took the risk to stage a big concert and she was stunned by the results.

Azawi advised young artists to challenge themselves like she did because big risks yield a lot and they are worth sometimes.

“I want young artists like me who are still new in the industry to learn how to challenge themselves. I was very scared before the concert I even remember asking myself if I knew what I was getting myself into. But sometimes big risks yield and I advise young people to do it,” Azawi said.
