Singer, also actress Evelyn Lagu is set to sue whoever had a hand in the cancellation of her concert.
Evelyn Lagu was supposed to have her fundraising show at the beginning of June 2022 at Musajjawazza Building but after all the preparations, the show was cancelled for unknown reasons.
For starters, the singer collapsed as she was heading to the Musajjawazza rooftop where she is organising an event with the theme “An evening with Evelyn Dinner Concert” that was scheduled to happen on June 2, 2022.
Reports claim that Lagu fainted after she learnt that the show that she had invested in her little earnings to fundraise more for her treatment was cancelled.
Now, according to Evelyn Lagu, she had already put in a lot of money in the show with the help of good samaritans and what hurt her most is that the lady (name not revealed) didn’t even apologize to her.
Lagu said she is ready with her lawyers to take matters to the court of law.
“I have been down very sick but now I am feeling better. I don’t know why the lady cancelled my show but it really affected me so much. She didn’t even say sorry when I was hospitalized. Me and my lawyers are ready to take things to the court,” Evelyn Lagu said.
