After Mc Kats real name Edwin Katamba embarked on “The U Can Campaign”, he was honored and met the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Mc Kats says he discussed a lot with the head of state about several issues but most importantly, the youth.
“We discussed the youths and how we can survive in this economy that every Ugandan complains about. They want us to love our country. They have investors and looking for youths that have proposals of something productive so that they give them loans, others will be given free money.
“I told the president my potential and good the crowd around hailed and i think there he understood i was on point,” Kats said.
Kats advised Ugandans to always accept any kind of help that comes in and not reject the opportunity depending on who is giving a hand.
He added the economy is tuff so once one gets such a kind of opportunity, one should use it.
Kats’ “The U Can” is a music tour across Uganda’s biggest universities focusing on creating awareness about HIV.
