“Am not a politician,” Comedian Salvado not intimidated by NUP supporters’ abuses on social media

Stand up comedian Patrick Indringi alias Patrick Salvado is not moved by National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters who abuse him on social media.

NUP supporters have developed a habit of attacking celebrities who associate with the ruling party. Some are followed on stage and throw bottles at them.

Being one of the best comedians in Uganda, Salvado has been booked to perform on shows that include the ruling party and he has been abused on social media.

In an interview with local television, Salvado revealed that NUP supporters don’t scare him at all because no one pays his bills at home nor buys him food.

Talented Salvado said if he is given an opportunity to work, he will use it and no one has a right to say he betrayed them.

“I am not a politician. If I am given an opportunity to work, I will work and make money. If someone says that I betrayed them, they should show how,” Salvador said.
