Andrew Kabuura joins NTV Uganda’s rivals NBS TV

Celebrated sports journalist and TV show host Andrew Kabuura has quit NTV, BOOM.UG has learnt.

A day after announcing his resignation from NTV Uganda, Andrew Kabuura has reportedly crossed over to join rivals NBS TV.

Just 24 hours later, photos of Andrew Kabuura paying a courtesy visit to Next Media Services in Naguru, Kampala have flooded social media causing speculation that he could be joining the station soon.

The photos first shared by Next Media’s CEO Kin Kariisa via his socials show a jolly Kabuura on an unusual visit and ‘tour’ at Next Media Services in Kampala.

Kabuura at NBS TV

Although the Naguru-based station is yet to make an official announcement, inside sources close to the top management affirmed that Kabuura’s next move is set to be NBS TV.

Kabuura joins a long list of staff NBS has fished from NTV Uganda, whom among include; Douglas Lwanga, Raymond Mujuni (who later returned to Serena), Hatmah Nalugwa Ssekaaya, Zahara Toto and Anatalie Ozzie, MC Kats,Solomon Sserwanja, Sheilah Nduhukire, among others.

Kabuura’s resignation comes days after senior news anchor Frank Walusimbi announced his end of tenure at NTV Uganda, after serving the station for over 15 years.
