“Gen Muhoozi’s birthday party wasn’t funded by tax payers money,” Frank Gashumba defends first son

On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday was celebrated by Ugandans at Lugogo cricket Oval with different performances from bigger artists in the country. The multi-billion birthday left questions with many doubting the source of income that funded the mega ceremony.

Ugandans claim the money that was used was taxpayers’ money which would have been used to develop the country.

However, political and social analyst Frank Gashumba has defended the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday expenditure.

As one of the people that attended the ceremony, Frank Gashumba claims that Gen Muhoozi’s birthday party was funded by his uncle Toyota.

Outspoken Gashumba said no single taxpayer’s coin was used on the birthday and Ugandans shouldn’t be angry that their money was wasted.

“The function that happened at Lugogo was not funded by taxpayers’ money. It was strictly funded by Muhoozi’s Uncle, Toyota, and his friends,” Frank M. Gashumba
