“Don’t celebrate me when I die if you can’t celebrate me now,” Musician Gift of Kaddo

Faded singer Gift of Kaddo has revealed his agony about how Uganda music industry and the media is putting down talented musicians just because they no longer have money.

Gift of Kaddo rose to fame like 10 years ago as he was singing with the late Mr. Ex.

In 2012 after the death of Mr. Ex, Gift of Kaddo started to fade away until today when he is not heard anywhere in the music industry.

Now that the new generation has taken over and Uganda’s music industry is moving at a high speed, Gift of Kaddo has turned his guns to the media accusing them of not giving him a platform.

In his recent interview with a local television, he asked his fans and the media not to celebrate him after his death because they have not managed to celebrate him now.

“People last played my music years ago and I think they are now waiting for me to die and they celebrate me like they did for my brother Mr. Ex. I am humbly asking that if they can’t celebrate me now, no one should celebrate me when I die,” Gift of Kaddo said
