Musicians to hold remembrance service for fallen artistes at Lubaga

Musicians under their umbrella the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) are set to organize a requiem mass for all the fallen artistes on 2nd November, 2022 at the Lubaga Cathedral.

The service is to remember all the artistes who passed on.

“We shall remember our fallen soldiers the artistes that left us at Lubaga Cathedral. As UMA it’s always important to celebrate art but we cannot celebrate the present without history and history has all these big names and even the small names that no one recognized. It’s always important to celebrate them, even if we can no longer see them but their music still sounds in our ears. They touched so many people and left legacies.

“I urge all musicians to come and attend the event, even if you’re not a member of UMA come and we celebrate together the lives of our fallen soldiers,” Cindy said.

Musicians such as Mowzey Radio, Philly Bongole Lutaaya, Harriet Kisakye, Paul Kafeero, Herman Basudde, Livingstone Kasozi, AK 47 among others will be celebrated.
