Singer Nina Roz real name Nina Kankunda has attacked Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) and Uganda Superstars Association for politicised music and got young musicians off their main goal which is creating music. 

The “Kipande” hitmaker says that she is young and embarrassed to be engaging in music politics.

During an interview with Boom.ug, Nina said that the artistes in Gulu are just wasting time. 

“I don’t want to talk about musicians’ politics, I got enough of it. I want to talk about things that build the industry now. Things that embarrass and have made us lose respect as musicians we should first leave them alone to God, us as young musicians we should first do music, they should not get us off track, me taking my to focus on the politics in music does not help me, I don’t get paid.

“Us as young people we understand, now it’s embarrassing for me to go in that politics,” Nina opened up.
