Dancehall artiste Vyper Ranking has opened up on how NBS television presenter MC Kats became a nightmare in his life as he was kicking off his career.
Vyper Ranking is one of the artistes that rose to fame through the hustle and pushing hard to get to the top of his career.
While pushing to have his music sink into the ears of his fans, he faced so many challenges. What surprised him most was how MC Kats treated him and his management in order to give him a platform.
Like any other upcoming artistes, they are looking for a big platform to make it to the industry. Kats’ shows are one of the shows that promote Ugandan music and so many musicians would want to have their songs playing on that show.

For Vyper Ranking, he was given conditions in order to be on some of the shows and all those were expensive but still, he made it and the platform wasn’t given to him.
He said MC Kats told him to take his music to Trace tv which is one of the hardest things and after doing that he said he doesn’t know him. All that gave him nightmares whenever he slept at night.
“As artistes we go through a lot but I can tell you MC Kats gave me nightmares at the beginning of my career. That man tortured me and I can never forget about him. Imagine giving me a platform on NBS After5 he said I should put my music on trace which was very expensive. I did it and when I came back to him he said he doesn’t know me,” Vyper Ranking said.
