Vyper Ranking reveals how Dembe FM’s Jacob Omutuuze pulled him down at the beginning of his career

Dancehall artiste Vyper Ranking has revealed how media personality also politician Jacob Omutuuze pulled him down at the beginning of his career.

As artistes are starting their careers, they go through a lot, especially with the media. Looking for a platform for their music, they are often criticized and at other times some are completely pushed away.

Every artiste has a story of how he started and for Vyper Ranking, his story rotates around DJ Jacob Omutuzze.

According to Vyper Ranking, as he was at the beginning of his career, he was moving from different media houses. When he reached Dembe FM he found Jacob Omutuuze who wasn’t welcoming at all.

In an interview with a YouTuber, Vyper Ranking said DJ Jacob didn’t even give him time to listen to his music, the only thing he told him was to go back and do better music.

Fortunately, Vyper Ranking fought and made it through and by the time he went back to Dembe FM, Jacob Omutuzze couldn’t remember what he said to him.

Talented Vyper Ranking said he will never forget Jacob Omutuzze and he wishes people like him who put down the rising artistes shouldn’t be anywhere in the media.

“In my whole career, I will never forget DJ Jacob Omutuzze and how he treated me when I was hustling to make my dreams come true. The media of Uganda is one of the enemies of music. I remember I had my song and when I gave it to Jacob he didn’t listen to it he just put me down and told me to go and do better music. Recently when I went back he couldn’t remember but me I can never forget,” Vyper Ranking said
