Late Quraish Nsamba’s family threaten to chase his widow away from their house

On 24th January 2023, Ugandans were gutted by the sad news of Bukedd TV journalist Nsamba Quraish’s death who collapsed while covering a story in Ndeeba.

However, days after the burial of her husband, Sharifah a widow of the late Quraish Nsamba is being chased out of the house by the late’s relatives and she’s begging the media and all those that fight for human rights to help her out.

She seeks help after the late’s family are doing their best to forcefully send her out of her house which she says was constructed by herself and her late husband.

In her words, the widow says the day after the burial of Quraish Nsamba her late husband, his family tried to send her away from the house and give her 300,000/= to go and rent a thing she calls unfair since the family on that has not given her time to mourn her husband’s death.

“Am Sharifah widow to late Quraish Nsamba, I come here requesting for your help, Ugandans that fight for human rights, those that fight for women’s rights and widows like me, am requesting your help.

“The  day my husband died, the following morning after the burial they were sending me away from the house giving me Ugx300000 to go and rent and yet have been in this house all this time.” She said.

She therefore on the issue call upon, the media especially  New Vision Group, and all of Quraish’s friends that knew him deeply to kindly help her in this tuff moment when his husband’s family wants her out of her house.
