Renowned radio star Marcus Kwikiriza has quit Next Media, Boom Uganda understands.
Marcus who has been in radio for close to 22 years has according to Boom Uganda sources quit the Naguru-based giant media house to NRG Radio Uganda.
Marcus is a former Next Radio morning show host and NBS TV’s Another Round co-host with Gaetano Kaggwa. He resigned radio job in February 2021 after he was named Head of Business Strategy at Next Media.
He officially resigned from Next Media amidst allegations that he was to replace Robert Kabushenga at Vision Group.
However, things didn’t by his anticipation after President Yoweri Museveni ordered the appointment of his press secretary then Don Wanyama for the juicy job
At NRG Radio Uganda which launched this year, a company owned by Kanyans, Kwikiriza joins other Ugandan like Sheila Salta, and Etania Mutoni.
