As the Miss Universe pageant runs its 71st edition that is going to take place in the United States on Sunday, January 15, 2023, the reigning Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri has been predicted as a hot favorite by social media polls.

According to the Miss South Africa organization online sites such as Philstar.com, Missiology, and Miss Universe predictions identified Ndavi Nokeri as one of the front runners and a hot favorite with Miss Universe fans and followers.

The Miss Universe pageant will be broadcast live on 1Magic (DSTV) at 03:00 on Monday 16 January and Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Nokeri who is in New Orleans where the pageant is being held says it has been wonderful meeting and getting to know her fellow contestants, adding that her preparations are on track and she is working hard. 

“I also appreciate the wonderful support from South Africa, I will be flying the flag high when i walk onto the Miss Universe stage and I am determined to give it my all, first as I did when I entered the Miss South Africa pageant.”She Said in a press statement.

The 71st edition of the pageant is hosted by TV host and stylist Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo while Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and entertainment reporter Zuri Hall serve as backstage correspondents.
