Oscar Kusasira an askari at Bubili primary school got into misunderstandings with his wife only identified as Brendah whom they have two children together.
After him getting drunk, he took his children to the school where he works and gave himself and the children poison with intention of killing himself and the children as well.
However, after taking the poison, it is said that Kusasira run to his mother’s home and left the children at school. Unfortunately, a 1-year old boy lost his life, and the other was rushed to Helona hospital together with his father both in worrying condition.
Police took the dead body and arrested Kusasira. He says they have not been on good terms with the mother of his children and that she has been telling him how she is leaving the house every time they had misunderstandings.
On that, Kusasira said they had just gotten back together with his wife a few months ago.
However he says he is not the one that poisoned himself and his children as people and police allege.
