Government Secondary school headteachers that are in for a retreat in Kyakwanzi are in horror after a fellow died suddenly on Sunday morning at the government institute, National Leadership Institute (NALI).
According to the sources, Julius Mukwaya who was the head of Mukono High school says that the deceased is Majidu Mabiriizi Sseggujja and has been the headteacher of Namasumbi UMEA S.S that is located in Kyampisi sub-county Mukono District.
Mabiriizi has been one of the heads of the patriotism club in secondary schools found in Mukono, Buikwe, Kayunga and Bunuma districts.
Mukwaya says that Majidu has not been sick but he got a strain in his body after they had finished doing the morning physical exercises and bathing, however, his condition worsened after he had finished saying prayers (Okusaala) that’s when he was rushed to the nearest hospital in Kyakwanzi where he took his last breath.
He says thereafter his body was taken to Mulago Hospital where the doctors said his heart failed to function hence causing his death.
“Mabiriizi’s body was taken to Mulago hospital for the doctor’s approval of his death and they found out that his heart failed to function a thing that caused his death,” Mukwaya said.
His body was laid to rest at Katovu village, Kasawo sub-county.
