Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel Manizo the Ugandan reggae, ragga, and dancehall artiste has started the new year with a new look.
Since the singer started his music career way back in 2005, he has been seen with plaited hair a style that many male artistes especially those that do reggae, and dancehall resorted to.
This time around, Weasel who made a name under the famous Goodlyfe crew with his singing partner the late Mowzey Radio who passed on in 2018 decided to begin his new chapter this year 2023 with a fresh haircut after a long time in the music industry.
However, many of the artistes including his elder brother Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine, and his late friend and partner had reached a kind of decision earlier.
He started singing as an independent artiste and released solo projects under the auspices of his elder brother’s records but it was a collaboration with Chameleon on Bomb Clat. While at Leone Island he connected with a talented young man Mowzey radio who became his close friend and later turned out the dynamic duo in the country.
