SEE Televison is one of the many local channels that were affected by the finacial crisis in the country. With anumber of advertisers withdrawing the Naguru based media house chose to go for the hardest decion when the fired a number of their employees.
The TV station decided to suspend some employees on December 23, 2022, which included news anchors, Cameramen, social media managers and producers.
Some of the employees claim that they have not been paid for now 12 months by the SEE TV.
“Our bosses used to pay us when the Tv station had just started, but things started changing mid last year when they started giving us excuses, our heads kept telling us to hold on every end of month, promising to pay us.” Some of the workers said.
SEE TV top bosses are yet to respond to the claims.
Media houses such as Top TV, Channel 44, Success Radio have all struggled to pay their workers.
