‘Lusuku Lwa cement’ hit maker Ronald Alimpa has explained his failure to show up at some Christmas shows.
Ronald Alimpa had so many shows he was booked for on Christmas despite being bedridden with broken legs. Days before Christmas he assured his fans that he will show up at all shows and was ready to sing while in a wheelchair.
On d-day, he failed to turn up for some shows which got him jailed after fans destroyed a number of equipments.
According to Ronald Alimpa, all shows booked on Christmas he made sure he attended but for the Rakai show, he says he was on the way going to perform only to hear that the venue was being vandalized by people and he decided to go to his other shows, however, the promoters just decided to get him jailed.
He added that fans destroying the pieces of equipment had nothing to do with him not showing up in time.
“I attended all shows where I was booked to perform on Christmas. This show where pieces of equipment were destroyed had nothing to do with me because I was on the way and before I reached they told me there was chaos so I continued to other shows,” Ronald Alimpa said.
