Former Presidential candidate Joseph Kabuleta and President of NEED has been granted bail.
Kabuleta has been granted bail of a fee of 2M cash and 20M not cash for the securities.
Kabuleta was arrested over failure to respond to the police summons about inappropriate remarks about Banyankole and Banyarwanda living in Uganda.
He is set to return back to court on January 18, 2023 for another hearing.
It has been a habit in Uganda where politicians and political analysts make bad comments about Banyankole and Banyarwanda just because that’s where President Museveni and his family originate from.
Police have been trying to track down these kinds of people and arrest them but the tribal comments keep coming in especially through social media and media houses.
