Pastor Martin Ssempa who appeared behind the commission for allegedly issuing stigmatizing messages using his Twitter account has insisted that the campaign of holding beauty contests for people living with HIV is wrong.
Pastor says he didn’t reject their idea but didn’t agree with them because according to him the idea is wrong but he doesn’t know why they are trying to fight him by accusing him of minor issues instead of awarding him for fighting the Virus.
“I thought I was called here to be given awards for fighting HIV but to my surprise, they are opening up a case on me saying I used my Twitter account wrongly and went against their campaign,” he said said.
He added that making HIV an allergic disease is a wrong thing because it’s one of the most dangerous viruses and advising people that have contracted it yet to stay safe would be a thing than promoting it.
