Singer Jackie Chandiru has announced his campaign dubbed “Make a difference” aimed at to support a girl child.
According to the Queen of the Nile, the “Make a Difference Campaign” about to solve the many challenges concerning or affecting youths and the girl child.
“The project is about many things; early pregnancies, sexeual assalts and many more mostly focusing on the girl child. We want to make a difference through changing the mindset of a girl child. Many girls are being fooled by men. So through this campaign, i believe we can address the problems from the roots,” Jackie said.
The singer also revealed that the campaign is for all girls of any age bracket.
“Any age range is welcomed because about 3 days ago, I was looking at a person who got pregnant at 9 years of age and she was with the first lady in Nigeria. So anything can happen at any age.
“Government should first listen to us even when I understand that they got a lot to do and so many things they have to address. When it comes to a young generation who don’t know any consequences of their deeds, sometimes you look at the released videos when students warn married women that they are coming back for holidays and that they should protect their men….. things like that. So the government needs to go down so we start from the root problem and be able to address it from there.” Jackie added.
