Kampala Woman MP, Shamim Malende has undergone a second operation at the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.
Hon Malende got sick last week after police detained her at Kawempe Divisional police station for three hours.
Her condition went bad and was taken to Lubaga hospital where doctors later referred her to Aga Khan hospital, Nairobi Kenya.
However, Shamim Malende’s condition is not getting any better as more and more surgeries are done on her without any improvement.
Malende had initially undergone surgery for abdominal pains. However, when abdominal pains persisted, experts suggested she undergoes a second operation.
According to New Vision newspaper, Shamim Malende underwent another surgery on Thursday, November 24, 2022, and her people are hoping she gets better.
However, according to her social media pages admin, the low maker is slightly improving.
“From ICU to general ward. Honorable Shamim Malende steadily recovering. Thank you all for your prayers,” The Mp’s social media Admin posted.
